The Making of The Godfather

Making of the Godfather, Mario Puzo

In a candid, probably never-before-seen account, the writer of The Godfather, Mario Puzo, reveals how he came into writing the best-seller book and how the movie deal and screen actors were cast. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Was Johnny Fontane’s character really based on Frank Sinatra? Off screen, Mario has a couple of interesting encounters with Sinatra. For all-time second most-popular movie ever made, this makes for essential reading.
